Amorim avoided addressing Garnacho’s future following his decision to exclude the striker from the 2-0 win against Villa. However, the player did join Andre Onana on their trip to Asia, despite both being left out for the match against Unai Emery’s team.

'We need to head over and present something to our fans on the opposite side of the globe.'
Bruno Fernandes will keep the captain’s armband during the Asian tour, and there is ample experience throughout Amorim’s team, as most of the first-team players are part of it.

Diogo Dalot has travelled despite being taken off at half-time in United’s clash with Villa.
Academy products Dan Armer, Godwill Kukonki, Reece Munro, Tyler Fletcher, Jack Moorhouse, Jim Thwaites and Shea Lacey will no doubt be desperate to get minutes under their belts over the coming days.

Veteran defender Jonny Evans, who leaves United this summer, has also been included and will have the opportunity to say goodbye to the club’s support in the Far East.
Following the conclusion of their Premier League campaign at Old Trafford, Amorim addressed United supporters saying, “To begin with, I wish to extend my apologies for how this season has gone. I understand that both you and fellow fans are deeply let down by myself as well as the team.”
'Secondly, I wish to express my gratitude. This season, we deeply appreciate your backing, and I realize how challenging it must have been to support us through numerous matches.'

'However, now we must make a decision. Do we stay stuck in the past? Since this season has passed. It's done. We can either compete against one another or unite and progress.'
'Half a year ago, following my initial three matches as head coach, we secured two wins and one tie. I informed you then that tough times were ahead. However, now, at the end of this disappointing season, I wish to share that better days lie ahead.'
'If there is one team globally that has shown they can surmount every challenge and calamity in the past, it's our team. It's Manchester United Football Club.'
'I also want to apologize now to my players. There were times when I wasn’t fair, but I have strived to always remain honest with all of you.'
'Very much appreciated, looking forward to seeing you next season.'
